We recommend booking flights scheduled to land no later than 11:00, to allow enough time for disembarkation, baggage collection and meeting the group.

You can also arrive a few days before the start of the tour to rest, adjust to the time zone, and avoid potential issues in case of flight delays. This reduces the risk of missing the start of the trip and allows you to begin the experience with more time and less stress.

It also gives you the opportunity to visit Barcelona before the tour. If you choose this option, we may be able to adjust the pick-up location within Barcelona to make things easier for you. This is subject to operational feasibility and must be arranged in advance. We can also provide recommendations and practical advice from the moment you arrive.

Overview

Welcome to the Matarraña. After your private transfer, we will head out for our first spin in the area. This short ride is an invitation to unplug and tune into the region.

It is a shakedown ride along backroads that wind through olive groves and rolling hills. You will immediately feel the tranquility of this area, ideal for waking up your legs under the Aragonese afternoon light.

We will head back to Valderrobres to enjoy the welcome dinner. We begin to soak in the character of this region, with the satisfaction of knowing the best is yet to come.

Overview

Get ready to immerse yourself in the solitude of the region’s backroads. The route links small villages, offering an experience of true freedom where traffic is practically non-existent and the tarmac becomes your only guide.

You will ride into the Matarraña highlands, passing through small stone villages. The profile is equal parts playful and demanding, featuring short, punchy climbs that come one right after another.

You will complete the loop in the historic center of Valderrobres after a visually and physically substantial day in the saddle. Later, the post-ride activity will allow you to unwind from the demands of the tarmac before dinner. It is the perfect close to an authentic day of cycling, defined by the connection between small towns and the absolute tranquility of its roads.

Overview

You will ride out of Valderrobres toward the Coll de Bot, a steady transition climb that will serve as your gateway to the Terra Alta region. After cresting this first milestone, the route dives into the Ebro basin along backroads that steer clear of the main arteries.

Next, you will tackle the Coll de Cardó. Its winding layout will lead you right up to the walls of the old spa. Thanks to its views and lack of traffic, it is one of the most traditional climbs for local cyclists.

You will complete the trilogy with the Coll de Som, your final hurdle of the day. It is a short ascent that offers a crystal-clear view of the Ebro river’s sweeping bends. You will roll into Tortosa to get some well-deserved rest. Tomorrow is the big day.

Overview

You will ride out of Tortosa with your sights set on the Els Ports massif to take on our Queen stage. You will pedal through centuries-old olive groves before tackling the Fredes climb. It is a steady, remote Category 1 climb where you will feel a true sense of isolation before descending back into the valley.

After a rolling section to bring your heart rate down, we will face the giant of the south together: Mont Caro. Pitches approaching 15% await you on this Hors Catégorie climb, where every meter is earned through sheer determination. You will be pedaling on the very same tarmac that has featured in the Volta a Catalunya. You will suffer it, you will live it, you will enjoy it.

We will wrap up in Tortosa, riding back into the city with the pride of having completed the toughest stage of the week. You will head off to rest with the deep satisfaction of someone who has tamed Mont Caro.

Overview

Waking up in Tortosa comes with zero pressure today. After the accumulated fatigue of yesterday’s Queen stage, your main goal is to recover over a leisurely breakfast. From there, the choice is yours: join an optional, easy spin through the flatlands of the Ebro Delta to flush out the legs, or simply stay off the saddle to rest and stroll through the historic old town.

Behind the scenes, our team handles all your luggage logistics, ensuring your transition to the airport is as smooth, comfortable, and professional as the rest of the trip.

Heading home, you leave with a top-tier itinerary under your belt and the sweet satisfaction of knowing you do not have to climb Mont Caro again today. We wrap up this adventure at the terminal, leaving an open invitation for your next challenge on the tarmac.
